Christmas

Christmas time is a wonderful time of the year. It is where families come together and have dinner and open gifts and catch up. But, there is a problem with this. Yes many families do come together and catch up and open gifts. The problem is the gift part. Many people think that Christmas is all about the gifts and everything. In truth it is not. It is about the birth of Christ. Many people have lost sight of this and I think it is time that we bring it back. Honestly in my opinion I could careless about the presents. To me it is about Christ and being around the people that I love and care about, not about going shopping and getting all bent out of shape because I did not get something that I wanted. No, to me it is way more important than that. I am sorry that if some of this is hurting your feelings, but in honesty you know that it is true. We should be thankful that we are still alive and have families that care about us. I'm not saying that gifts are bad, but we shouldn't make them all about the gifts. We should at least say Thank you every once in awhile to our parents who do work hard for their money, that they go blow it all on getting their children stuff for Christmas. We should look past that and just spend time with them. I think it is time to bring back the true meaning of Christmas! and NO NOT THE PRESENTS!
